REVAARMISMO

Revaarmismo is more than an art style. It is a movement born from reverie, emotion, and the unconscious. The word blends reverie, the French word for daydream, with Vaarmi, the artist’s name, creating a space where personal vision and ancestral memory merge.

 

This movement honors both the living and the dead. It speaks through symbols rooted in history, language, and meaning. Sacred marks from cultures that once were, and emotions that still are. It embraces imperfections, contradictions, and the raw intensity of feeling. In Revaarmismo, nothing is accidental. Every line, color, and glow carries intention.

 

Whether painted on canvas, fabric, or seen in moving visuals, each work is a portal. A reflection of chaos, clarity, protection, rebellion, and light. How long does it take to create a custom artwork?

The time for a custom artwork depends on the size, level of detail, the materials we choose (canvas, glow-in-the-dark layers, hand-painted T-shirts, 24K gold, and other special elements), and my current waiting list. At the top of this page you’ll see a small number showing how many commissions are ahead of any new order that comes in. Once we talk about your idea and the materials you want, I’ll confirm where you are on the list and give you a clear time estimate before we start.

Do the glow-in-the-dark paintings require special lighting?

Our glow-in-the-dark paintings need UV light to charge. Sunlight naturally contains UV rays, so just having the artwork in a bright room during the day is enough for it to “store” light and glow later. You can also use a UV or black light if you want a stronger, faster charge. Simply let the piece sit in good daylight or under a UV lamp for a while, then turn off the lights and the glow will appear. No other special lighting is required.

Vaarmi Reverie is a Montreal-based art company creating hand-painted, fluorescent, and symbolic works that merge ancient memory with modern emotion. We produce original fine art, custom apparel, and digital visuals for musicians, including cover art, portraits, and animated Spotify loops.
