MISAEL VAARMI

Artist • Vision • Memory • Chaos

“Between reverie and revelation.”

Misael Vaarmi is a visionary artist whose work moves between emotion, memory, and the surreal.
Born in Chihuahua, Mexico and now based in Tiohtià:ke / Montréal, his practice carries migration, cultural memory, and introspection.
His work is not decorative — it is a psychological experience.

For 10 years, Misael played drums in a military marching band in Mexico.
Rhythm, repetition, and timing shaped his body before painting shaped his mind.
When he discovered electronic music and raves, that same discipline found freedom — and this pulse still lives in his art.

Raised in a conservative environment, Misael learned to survive between silence and courage.
Women became his protectors, shaping his ethics and his vision.
This tension between vulnerability and strength defines his work.

Through hand-painted works, fluorescent pigments, and digital art, Misael builds images that feel alive.
Many pieces glow in the dark — not as magic, but as memory that reappears when light disappears.

Founder of Revaarmismo

Revaarmismo treats chaos as hidden order.
It interrupts automatic perception and makes the viewer feel before thinking.
The glow-in-the-dark layer acts like a protective candle — a quiet anchor in darkness.

This is Vaarmi — and this is his reverie.
